The room, although small, had a comfy bed. The breakfast offered was extensive and rich, catering to all tastes, including delicious toast and freshly cooked options.

Everything was fabulous, ideal location close to the Lundy ferry terminal, the staff were amazingly nice. My bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was reasonably large and functional with comfortable bed. I had an electric kettle, an iron and a work desk in it.

Our small room was exceptional with the kitchen below, sound insulation between bedrooms, for instance as advertised.

The place was clean and we loved the standard queen room. the breakfast had plenty of splendid food and drinks. Its location not too far from an indoor market was unbeatable and easy. It was also really close to the restaurant, a very good beach, and the river.

    locality was good, fabulous views

very dated in decor and style of hotel. Seems to be stuck in the 70s, linens, decor, layout of dining room and entertainment room. Dark and dismal, lots of stairs and doors, which meant not good for those with limited mobility, although there were some stairlifts.

The standard queen room here suited us perfectly, and the staff was efficient, smart, and provided excellent advice.

This place is centrally located near a charming old bridge over the Torridge river and is housed in a cozy building close to the town center and the bay, making it a convenient spot to stay.

Good location, close to beach, spacious rooms and had balcony at no extra cost. Breakfast included, ease of booking, good rates.

Some of the older reception staff are rude and patronizing. I am a frequent guest and always feel belittled and insulted by the check-out staff despite being a professional in my late 20's.

The hotel was nicely presented and modern. The breakfast offered a good choice of extensive and varied options.- The location was ideal and peaceful, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

I had no complaints at all during my couple of nights' stay.

    Nice Pool

Hotel is very run down and decor in room shabby. Had to push toilet paper into the gap in the balcony door to try to stop the wind whistling through it.

Most staff very friendly. Good food well presented. Value for money. Swimming pool is excellent.

Run down state is lamentable, sports rooms full of derelict pianos, reception staff need further training in customer skills. Eg. Ignoring waiting guests whilst answering the telephone. A little, "one moment please" would go a long way.
